Sell wholesale on Faire
straight from your Odoo ERP
Commercium connects Odoo to Faire's wholesale marketplace and runs the brand side of the channel for you: listings built from your Odoo product templates and variants, wholesale price and stock kept accurate across every SKU and warehouse, retailer orders imported as Odoo sales orders, deliveries confirmed back to Faire, cancellations mirrored on both sides, and returns turned into Odoo credit notes end to end, without a spreadsheet or a manual API call in sight.
No credit card required. Onboarding takes 1 to 2 hours once your details are provided.
What Commercium solves between Faire and Odoo
Faire is a wholesale marketplace built for brands, not a live storefront your team edits directly, every listing, price, order, shipment, cancellation and return is an API operation. Odoo is where your product templates, variants, multi-warehouse stock, sales orders and accounting already live, often across more than one company. Commercium keeps the two in step, so your team stops calling the Faire API by hand and stops re-typing wholesale orders every time stock, price, a cancellation or a return changes.
Listings, wholesale pricing, orders, cancellations and returns live in separate places
Selling on Faire means keeping your Odoo catalogue and warehouse-level stock in step with what Faire's brand API shows, by hand, on top of wholesale-specific rules Odoo's default sales flow was never configured for.
One connection, every listing, order, cancellation and return on schedule
Commercium reads your Odoo catalogue and warehouse-level stock directly and keeps Faire in step with it automatically, wholesale price and RRP included.

Odoo stays where your team works. Commercium sits between it and Faire, so every listing, price, stock update, order, shipment, cancellation and return flows automatically, on schedule, from one Odoo connection.
What Faire is, and what selling on it actually involves
Faire is a B2B wholesale marketplace where independent retailers discover and reorder from brands. Brands hold their own stock and ship their own orders; Faire handles discovery, checkout, retailer payment terms and returns, and exposes the whole relationship through a REST API.
A wholesale marketplace, not a consumer one
Faire connects brands with independent retailers, boutiques, gift shops, grocers, salons and homeware stores. Buyers must be verified retail businesses, so every order is a wholesale order at wholesale pricing, usually with a minimum.
Faire carries the payment risk
Eligible retailers get 60-day payment terms and free returns on opening orders, while the brand is paid on its own payout schedule. That underwriting is a large part of what the commission buys.
Discovery is the product
Retailers browse Faire the way consumers browse a marketplace. Your brand page, imagery, lead time and minimums are merchandising, which is why catalogue quality matters more here than on a channel where buyers search for a known SKU.
Prepacks, minimums and case packs
Wholesale catalogues carry structures retail catalogues do not: case packs, assorted prepacks, order minimums, per-retailer terms and a wholesale price alongside the suggested retail price.
Brands fulfil their own orders
You ship each order yourself, either using a Faire-generated label or your own carrier account. Faire expects a ship-by date, tracking and, when you ship on your own, the shipping cost.
An API built for brand systems
Faire's External API covers products and variants, inventory by SKU, orders, shipments and returns, with idempotency tokens on writes and OAuth for newer integrations, which is what makes a clean two-way sync with an ERP like Odoo possible.
From brand application to payout
Brands apply and are approved, then publish a wholesale catalogue with pricing, minimums and lead times. Retailers order, the brand ships, Faire pays the brand and collects from the retailer on its terms. Everything after approval is data movement, which is the part Commercium takes over.
Standard commission on orders from retailers Faire introduced you to, first order and reorders alike.
A one-off charge the first time a retailer discovers you on the marketplace: a flat $10 for North American brands, or a 10% referral fee for brands outside North America (25% all-in on that first order).
Retailers you bring yourself through your own Faire Direct link order at 0% commission, you still pay payment processing.
Rates are Faire's published brand pricing and can change, always confirm the current terms in your Faire brand account. Commercium reads what Faire actually charged on each payout, so your Odoo books follow the real numbers rather than an assumed rate.
Bring your credentials and your Odoo instance and we will publish a test batch, import a live order and run the shipping-charge write-back with you on the same call.
From demo to a live Faire wholesale channel
Six steps from the first conversation to a controlled go-live, credentials on both sides, platform connections, mapping and a real order dry run before your catalogue goes live.
Book a demo & scope the setup
Tell us what you sell wholesale, how your Odoo instance is structured (single or multi-company, which warehouses hold stock, which pricelists you use), and whether you run Faire alongside a DTC store or other marketplaces. We walk the whole integration on a live call and tell you what your setup will actually look like.
Get your Faire API credentials
Get your Faire Brand App ID and API Access Token ready. Faire reviews your brand application and issues those credentials through the Faire Developer Portal once approved.
Get your Odoo API access
Get your Odoo API access ready, an API key or external user on your own instance, Odoo.sh or Odoo Enterprise database, along with your product category structure, wholesale pricelist and minimum order rules, and warehouse IDs.
Connect Faire & Odoo in Commercium
Meet your integration engineer, who connects Faire and Odoo. Onboarding takes 1 to 2 hours once the details are provided.
Map catalogue, pricing & operations
Your integration engineer maps SKU and category data, wholesale and RRP pricing, warehouses, carriers, cancellation and return reason codes, so Faire listings and Odoo documents stay the same record.
Test, publish & go live
Test in a staging environment, covering listings, stock and price updates, orders, shipment confirmations, a sample cancellation and a sample return, before anything touches a live retailer order. Then go live, and Commercium runs the workflows on schedule and flags anything that needs attention.
What we learnt while integrating Faire with Odoo
Working notes from live Faire operations running on top of Odoo, the things that decide whether a wholesale channel runs quietly, and how each one became automation inside Commercium.
Most brands ship Faire orders themselves, and want the shipping money back
Faire gives brands two ways to fulfil: print a Faire label, or ship on your own with your own carrier account. Brands with negotiated carrier rates, unusual carton sizes or a 3PL almost always choose their own label, and then have to enter the shipping cost and tracking number on every order to be reimbursed on the payout. Commercium captures the real label cost at the point your Odoo delivery is validated, aggregates multi-parcel shipments, sends cost and tracking back with the shipment and then matches what Faire actually reimbursed on the payout.
What you pay Faire depends on who the retailer is, and it has to land in the right Odoo account
Faire's commission is not one number across your order book. Orders from retailers the marketplace introduced carry the standard commission, with a one-off new-customer fee on that retailer's first order. Retailers you bring in yourself through Faire Direct carry no commission at all. Commercium reads the fees Faire actually charged on each payout line and posts commission, new-customer fees, reimbursements and processing separately as Odoo journal entries against the right accounts.
Odoo pricelists are the cleanest place to hold two prices
Retailers discover brands on Faire by browsing, so images, titles, variant structure, minimums and lead time are doing the selling. Odoo's pricelist engine already separates a base cost from a customer-facing price, which is exactly the shape a wholesale price and an RRP need. Commercium republishes changes from Odoo and shows you exactly which listings failed and why.
Wholesale can empty your retail shelf
A single wholesale order moves more units than a week of DTC. We publish from the Odoo warehouse that owns stock with a wholesale-specific buffer, so one channel cannot strip the other.
Prepacks and minimums are catalogue structure, not notes
Case packs, assorted prepacks and order minimums change what a "unit" means. Modelling them with Odoo's units of measure keeps ERP quantities and Faire quantities the same number.
Multi-company Odoo needs one clear answer per Faire brand
Brands running several legal entities in one Odoo database need a fixed company and warehouse mapped to each Faire brand account, decided once, not guessed order by order.
Ship-by dates are a merchandising signal
Your stated lead time appears on your brand page and sets retailer expectation. Wiring shipment confirmation to the Odoo delivery-validated event keeps the promise and the data in step.
Reorders are where the money is
The economics of Faire improve with every reorder from the same retailer, so in-stock accuracy, fast dispatch and correct tracking are commercial levers, not hygiene.
Get both API accesses sorted before the build
Faire API access runs through its developer portal and brand support; Odoo access runs through an API key or external user on your own instance or Odoo.sh. Starting both conversations on day one keeps a go-live measured in days rather than weeks.
Working notes from our integration team, we update this section as Faire's and Odoo's requirements change.

Can Commercium create products on Odoo?
Yes. Product templates, variants, SKUs, warehouse-level quantities and pricelist entries can be created and updated in Odoo from your PIM or another connected channel, so Odoo can be either the source of truth or the destination, depending on how you run your catalogue.
Can Faire orders be sent to my ERP?
Yes. Faire orders can be transformed and sent to Odoo as confirmed sales orders, with the correct company, warehouse, customer and pricelist, and shipment status flowing back to Faire once you dispatch.
Can Odoo sales orders be sent to other connected systems?
Yes. Odoo orders and stock movements can be transformed and sent to supported marketplaces, ecommerce platforms, shipping or 3PL systems, and fulfilment and tracking status flow back into Odoo.
Can Commercium help new Faire sellers?
Yes. Commercium works with brands during onboarding to prepare product data, connect systems, configure mappings and establish operational workflows, including wholesale/RRP pricing setup and minimum order rules, which usually decide how smooth a first Faire launch is.
Can Commercium help new Odoo users connect to marketplaces?
Yes. Commercium works with Odoo users during onboarding to prepare product data, connect companies and warehouses, configure mappings and set up the operational workflows a new marketplace requires.
Can I connect more than one Faire brand account using Commercium?
Yes, you can add as many Faire brand accounts as you want while remaining on your same plan using Commercium. You only upgrade when you cross your plan's order limits.
Can I connect more than one Odoo company or database using Commercium?
Yes, you can add as many Odoo companies or databases as you want while remaining on your same plan, useful for multi-brand or multi-region setups. You only upgrade when you cross your plan's order limits.
What are the next steps to connect Faire to Odoo using Commercium?
Six steps. First, book a demo with Commercium and tell us how your Faire brand account is set up and how your Odoo companies, warehouses and pricelists are structured. Second, get your Faire Brand App ID and API Access Token ready. Third, get your Odoo API access ready, an API key or external user on your own instance, Odoo.sh or Odoo Enterprise database, along with your product category structure, wholesale pricelist and minimum order rules, and warehouse IDs. Fourth, meet your integration engineer, who connects Faire and Odoo and maps SKU and category data, wholesale and RRP pricing, warehouses, carriers, cancellation and return reason codes; onboarding takes 1 to 2 hours once the details are provided. Fifth, test in a staging environment, covering listings, stock and price updates, orders, shipment confirmations, a sample cancellation and a sample return, before anything touches a live retailer order. Sixth, go live, and Commercium runs the workflows on schedule and flags anything that needs attention.
Which flows does Commercium sync between Faire and Odoo?
Product sync, inventory sync, price sync, order sync, shipment sync, cancel sync and reverse (return) sync, with returns flowing from source to destination. Which of these run and how they're configured is set up per account, based on how your current Faire listings and Odoo instance are structured.
Does Faire require brand approval before Commercium can connect?
Yes. Faire reviews your brand application and issues an App ID and API Access Token through the Faire Developer Portal once approved; Commercium connects using those credentials as soon as they're available.
How is wholesale price and suggested retail price handled between Faire and Odoo?
Commercium maps your Odoo wholesale pricelist to Faire's wholesale price field, and derives the suggested retail price (RRP) using a markup or percentage rule you define once, so every listing carries both figures without being priced twice by hand.
How are Faire returns reflected in Odoo?
Return requests raised on Faire are pulled in, matched to the original sales order line, and turned into a credit note in Odoo, with the processed status pushed back to Faire once complete.
How are Faire order cancellations handled?
Cancellations raised on Faire, by the retailer or by Faire itself on a minimum-order violation, are matched to the Odoo sales order, the order is cancelled and reserved stock is released. Cancellations you raise in Odoo are pushed back to Faire the same way.
Does Commercium support multi-company and multi-warehouse Odoo setups?
Yes. Each Faire brand account is mapped to a specific Odoo company and one or more warehouses, so multi-entity and multi-location businesses sync the same way a single-company setup does, with stock rolled up or filtered per your rules before it reaches Faire.
Does Commercium support minimum order quantity and case pack rules?
Yes. Minimum order value, minimum order quantity and case-pack settings, modelled through Odoo's units of measure, can be mapped per listing, so Faire enforces the same ordering rules you intend, instead of being left at a default.
How does Commercium handle Odoo product variants when listing on Faire?
Each Odoo product variant is mapped to its own Faire listing option using its own SKU, wholesale price and stock, with shared parent data such as title, brand and images carried across the variant set.
Which Odoo versions and editions does Commercium work with?
Commercium connects to both Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise, whether self-hosted, on Odoo.sh, or on Odoo's own cloud, using the standard Odoo external API. Your integration engineer confirms compatibility with your specific version during setup.
Does Commercium post Faire fees and payouts into Odoo accounting?
Yes. Commercium reads commission, new-customer fees, shipping reimbursements and payment processing from each Faire payout and posts them as journal entries or vendor bills against the accounts you map in Odoo.
Is there a free trial available?
Can I sell on multiple marketplaces using Commercium?
You can connect and manage multiple sales channels through a single Commercium subscription without purchasing a separate connector for each platform. Some enterprise and ERP integrations may require a higher-tier plan.
Does every order I receive on any channel get counted against my plan order limit?
For example, if you already sell through Shopify and use Commercium to connect three additional marketplaces, only orders received from those three marketplaces count toward your Commercium order limit. Your existing Shopify orders are not counted unless Shopify is also connected to Commercium as a sales channel for order processing.
Most supported platforms can be added without a separate per-connector fee, provided they are covered by your current plan category.
How frequently does data sync happen between connected platforms?
What happens when I cross my plan limit?
You can also upgrade to a higher plan if you consistently exceed your plan limits, as higher-volume plans can cost less.
Can I connect my shipping platform with Commercium?
This allows you to send orders for fulfilment and synchronize shipment and tracking information with your connected sales channels.
Can I connect my ERP and accounting software with Commercium?
These integrations can synchronize products, inventory, pricing, orders, fulfilment information, and accounting data, depending on the capabilities of each connected system.
What kind of support does Commercium offer?
The support channels and service levels available may vary by plan.
Why are there three different types of pricing plans?
Ecommerce pricing applies when your setup includes only platforms classified as standard ecommerce integrations.
Enterprise pricing applies when your setup includes an enterprise marketplace, retailer, fulfilment network, or another platform classified as an enterprise integration.
ERP pricing applies when your setup includes an ERP system such as Business Central, Odoo, Acumatica, or NetSuite.
If your setup includes an Enterprise or ERP integration, the corresponding pricing category will apply. Our team can review your requirements and confirm the appropriate plan before you subscribe.
