What is Amazon Vendor Central?
Amazon Vendor Central lets selected businesses operate as first-party (1P) suppliers to Amazon. You sell your products to Amazon in bulk, and Amazon resells them to customers under “Ships from and sold by Amazon.”

Vendor Central is invite-only and purchase-order driven. Instead of listing to shoppers yourself (as you would in Seller Central / 3P), Amazon sends you purchase orders, you confirm and fulfill them, and you invoice Amazon.
In Direct Fulfillment, Amazon forwards individual customer orders to you and you ship directly to the buyer. In Retail Procurement, Amazon buys inventory in bulk into its own fulfillment centers and handles customer shipping itself.
Either way, the same documents flow back and forth, purchase orders (PO), order acknowledgements, advance shipping notices (ASN), and invoices. Doing this by hand across regions is slow and error-prone, which is exactly what Commercium automates between Vendor Central and your back-office systems.
