Available quantity from the Shopify locations you pick is pooled, buffered and sent to Virtualstock for each retailer product, so a sale on any channel updates your retailers within minutes.
Order sync
Retailer orders from Virtualstock land in Shopify as native orders, tagged with the retailer, with customer notifications suppressed and the right location assigned.
Shipment sync
When you fulfil in Shopify, the dispatch goes to Virtualstock with carrier and tracking, so the retailer and the customer see it straight away.
Invoice sync
Each dispatch becomes an invoice to the retailer on Virtualstock, with the dispatched lines, your cost prices, VAT and any delivery charge.

Shopify is the hosted commerce platform behind millions of stores, from single-brand D2C sites to Shopify Plus enterprises. Products live as products with variants, stock is tracked as inventory levels per location, orders carry fulfilments and returns, and everything is reachable through the Admin API. For Virtualstock suppliers, it is already the cleanest stock and order system they own, which makes it the natural engine for a dropship channel.

Virtualstock is a UK dropship and curated marketplace platform, founded in 2004 in Reading and now part of Logicbroker. Retailers such as Argos, B&Q, Currys and John Lewis use it to extend their online range without holding stock, processing more than 8 million orders and over £2 billion in sales a year. Suppliers join at a retailer’s invitation and work through one connection to every retailer they supply: they keep stock up to date, receive the retailer’s customer orders, dispatch them directly with tracking and invoice the retailer. Suppliers connect through the portal, a REST API or flat files over SFTP.

Every status you send is visible to the retailer
On Virtualstock the retailer sees each update a supplier sends, from the moment an order is received to dispatch and tracking. Retailers measure suppliers on how quickly and accurately those updates arrive, and a dispatch sent late or without tracking becomes a customer service call at the retailer. Commercium helps suppliers:
One Virtualstock account, many retailers with their own rules
Virtualstock gives a supplier one connection to every retailer it supplies, but each retailer is still its own relationship: its own product codes, cost prices, dispatch expectations and invoice rules, and sometimes separate channels for regions or buying groups. Commercium keeps one Shopify stock pool and maps each retailer’s orders, codes and invoice rules separately, so adding a retailer is configuration, not a new build.
Invoices fail on the details, not the totals
Retailers reconcile supplier invoices against what they ordered and what you dispatched. An invoice with the wrong cost price, a missing line, a quantity that doesn’t match the dispatch or the wrong VAT treatment gets held, and payment waits until someone finds the problem. Stock is the first thing retailers check
Retailers hide or suppress products when supplier stock is out of date. We send changes as stock moves in Shopify, with a full stock refresh on a schedule.
Tracking has to work for the retailer’s customer
A dispatch without a tracking number, or with a carrier the retailer can’t track, leaves the customer chasing the retailer. We map each Shopify carrier and service to what each retailer expects.
Partial dispatches need partial invoices
When one line ships today and another next week, each dispatch needs its own invoice for exactly what left the warehouse. We invoice per dispatch, not per order.
Retailer codes are not your SKUs
Retailers often reference products by their own codes. We match each retailer’s code to the Shopify variant, so every order line lands on the right item.
Packs and bundles need translating
A retailer’s single product can be a Shopify bundle or a multi-pack. We translate quantities both ways, so stock and orders stay correct.
Supplier performance is on show
Retailers compare dispatch speed and stock accuracy across their supplier network. We alert on orders at risk before they turn into a late dispatch.
API beats a nightly file
Virtualstock accepts flat files over SFTP as well as its REST API. Commercium connects through the API, so updates move in near real time and every response is checked rather than waiting for a file run.
The retailer owns the customer and the retail price
Orders are created in Shopify for fulfilment, with customer emails suppressed and line prices at your cost price, so reports don’t mistake retail prices for your revenue.

You can connect and manage multiple sales channels through a single Commercium subscription without purchasing a separate connector for each platform. Some enterprise and ERP integrations may require a higher-tier plan.
Does every order I receive on any channel get counted against my plan order limit?
For example, if you already sell through Shopify and use Commercium to connect three additional marketplaces, only orders received from those three marketplaces count toward your Commercium order limit. Your existing Shopify orders are not counted unless Shopify is also connected to Commercium as a sales channel for order processing.
Most supported platforms can be added without a separate per-connector fee, provided they are covered by your current plan category.
How frequently does data sync happen between connected platforms?

Why are there three different types of pricing plans?
Ecommerce pricing applies when your setup includes only platforms classified as standard ecommerce integrations.
Enterprise pricing applies when your setup includes an enterprise marketplace, retailer, fulfilment network, or another platform classified as an enterprise integration.
ERP pricing applies when your setup includes an ERP system such as Business Central, Odoo, Acumatica, or NetSuite.
If your setup includes an Enterprise or ERP integration, the corresponding pricing category will apply. Our team can review your requirements and confirm the appropriate plan before you subscribe.
