What Mirakl is, and what selling on it actually means
Mirakl is the marketplace SaaS platform that retailers and brands license to launch and run their own third-party marketplace. Operators publish orders through it; sellers publish offers, stock, shipments and invoices back. You connect once, and each Mirakl-powered marketplace becomes a shop profile rather than a new project.
Shop-based onboarding
Each Mirakl-powered marketplace is run by its own retailer or brand. You onboard onto each one as a separate shop, complete KYC and agree to that operator's own catalog, commission and service-level rules.
Offer catalog
Sellers publish offers, product, price and stock combinations, against the operator's own category tree and product-sheet template. Whether product creation is included depends on how the shop is configured.
Order acceptance
Orders wait in an acceptance state until you actively accept or refuse them against live stock, inside the operator's own SLA window, well before anything ships.
Shipment confirmation
Carrier, tracking number and shipped quantity are confirmed back per order, closing it out and triggering the operator's own buyer notifications.
Returns, cancellations & refunds
Return authorizations, cancellations and full or partial refunds are all reported back through Mirakl's API, with the operator's own commission and deduction rules applied to each.
Invoice upload
Many operators run B2B alongside consumer sales, and those orders need a VAT invoice uploaded back to Mirakl before the order can settle cleanly.
Shop-invited, seller-operated
Each Mirakl-powered marketplace is operated by its own retailer or brand, and you onboard onto it as a seller with your own shop account. Your account holds the orders you receive, the offers you publish and the documents you owe back. Commercium sits behind every shop you run and drives all of it from your Odoo data, the same source feeding every marketplace you supply.
Who runs marketplaces on it
Mirakl licenses its marketplace software to hundreds of retailers and brands, who each run their own independently branded marketplace on top of it. Whichever operator invited you, the integration has the same shape: their shop configuration, their category tree, their windows.

Overselling is the first thing that breaks
The moment an Odoo instance also sells on two or three Mirakl operators, the same physical unit is offered several times over. Marketplace cancellations hurt more than store ones, they hit the operator's cancellation-rate KPI as well as the customer. Stock pooling is not a nice-to-have; it is the reason the integration exists. Commercium helps sellers:
Acceptance windows are shorter than an Odoo workflow
Mirakl orders wait in an acceptance state and are auto-cancelled if you miss the operator's window, sometimes less than a working day. A team used to Odoo's own relaxed sales-order rhythm will miss it. Orders are retrieved on a schedule, checked against live pooled stock, accepted or refused under your rules, created in Odoo with the right warehouse, and shipped with a tracking number the operator will actually accept.
Odoo catalogues are ERP-ready, not operator-ready
A product catalogue that's clean for internal use can still be refused wholesale: barcodes are blank because Odoo never required them, a mandatory attribute exists only in that operator's category, an image has to be reachable at a public URL, or an identifier type isn't accepted. Because Mirakl imports are asynchronous, you only learn this after polling the import and reading the report. Commercium has built depth in:
Marketplace price is never the Odoo price
Operator commission, shipping treatment and local competition mean the price in Odoo rarely works as an offer price. We build per-operator price rules off the Odoo price, uplift, floor, rounding and promo handling, so nobody maintains prices twice.
Odoo warehouses don't map one-to-one to fulfilment
Marketplace orders often need a specific warehouse or 3PL and a different lead time from your own fulfilment promise. Routing rules choose the warehouse per operator, and the order lands in Odoo already assigned so pickers do not have to decide.
Variants and operator identifiers rarely line up
Odoo attribute values and internal references are written for your own operations; operators want their own value lists. Value normalisation lives in the mapping profile, so an internal variant name becomes whatever each operator accepts, without touching your product data.
Custom fields are the right home for operator attributes
Mandatory operator attributes that Odoo has no field for otherwise end up living in spreadsheets. We define custom fields for them through Odoo Studio, so your team keeps editing in one place and the operator still gets a complete submission.
Marketplace orders shouldn't behave like direct sales orders
Created naively, Mirakl orders trigger the wrong sales team, break your reporting, and pollute your customer records. We create them tagged, attributed to the operator, with notifications suppressed and taxes marked as marketplace-collected where applicable.
Operator KPIs quietly gate your growth
Acceptance rate, late-shipment rate, cancellation rate and message response time affect visibility and account standing. We monitor them per operator and raise them as operational alerts, not month-end reports.
B2B orders arrive with a VAT invoice obligation
Many Mirakl operators run B2B alongside consumer sales, and those orders require a VAT invoice to be uploaded back to the operator before the order can settle cleanly. Commercium identifies B2B orders automatically and handles the VAT invoice upload for them, so finance is not chasing marketplace portals by hand.
Tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive is never one answer
When orders are written into Odoo, some businesses need totals tax-inclusive and others need them exclusive, get it wrong and every downstream report is off. Commercium transforms order totals to tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive according to each customer's preferred setting.

Does every order I receive on any channel get counted against my plan order limit?
No, we only count those orders against your plan order limit that you receive via channels that you have connected using Commercium.
For example, if you are already selling on Shopify and you started selling on 3 new marketplaces connected via Commercium, we will only count those orders against your plan limit that you receive from those 3 new marketplaces, not the orders that you receive via Shopify.
How frequently does the data sync happen between the connected platforms?
Can I connect additional marketplaces and platforms later using Commercium?
Yes. Commercium supports over 200+ marketplaces, ecommerce platforms, ERPs, shipping providers, accounting systems and fulfilment platforms through the same application.
Most of the platforms you can connect for free while remaining on your existing plan.
What happens when I cross my plan limit?
Once you cross your plan limit, your data sync remains active and everything keeps working as usual. We send you a monthly overage invoice that you can pay from within your Commercium portal within 7 days of the invoice issue date.
You can also upgrade to a higher plan later if you continuously cross your plan's limits, because it saves you money since higher volume plans cost less.
